The new Criticare 597-E Scholar II monitors are already available to be used when patients return to their rooms, in the immediate post-operatory period. All the rooms are equipped with cardiac monitor, oximeter, saturation, blood pressure and temperature controllers.

The ICU of Hospital da Plástica is already in full operation, and the medical staff of intensivists which is responsible for this unit is highly capable of meeting the patients’ needs, that is to say, they are able to handle any emergencies that may occur with great efficiency.
