A HOSPITAL WORTH VISITING The ICU of Hospital da Plástica is already fully equipped, with every necessary machine and medication available.

Hospital da Plástica has purchased the following equipment for the ICU:
- an Adult Star state-of-the-art ventilation machine – in Rio de Janeiro only Hospital Pró Cardíaco can match this equipment
- two infusion bombs, one Medinfusion and one Omniflow with 04 channels

The ICU intensivist doctors were given a new room (close to the ICU), thus releasing apartment 109 for patients’ use.

All the apartments of the 1st and 2nd floors were redecorated, now furnished by Forma – just like those of the 3rd floor. In the bathrooms, when possible, new Blindex shower doors were installed, and new curtains were made for the windows.

Two more trolleys with devices for cardiorespiratory arrest emergencies were purchased, totalling 03 trolleys, all ready for use at the corridor of each floor.

The CO2 Laser machine was fixed and it is now working in perfect condition. It has already been used with 06 patients.

Endotine, to be applied in the frontal region for raising eyebrows, is now available at Hospital da Plástica, which uses the best technology associated with videoendoscopy.
