SURGICAL CENTER:
  - 12 polyester carts with drawers for surgical material were purchased.
- Air Split air-conditioners installed in every operating room – 40.000 BTUs, so that besides the already existing 30.000-BTU air-conditioner (spare) we also have an air-conditioner mini-central available in every room.
- 24 Velcro arm-holders installed in the surgical center in order to avoid the undiscriminate use of bandages to hold the patients’ arms.
ROOMS
  - All the rooms on the 2nd floor had their size increased, and received new dark MDF closets with unoxidated aluminum and glass doors, as well as a 24” flat screen Sony television set, prepared to be digital.
- Couches, armchairs, tables, and chairs by Forma furnish the rooms now.
- State-of-the-art Air Split air-conditioners installed in 16 rooms.
- Every room has a 120-liter refrigerator fully supplied, from which each product is sold by R$ 4,00.
HUMAN RESOURCES
  - One more graduate nurse was hired, Ms. Leila, who is now in charge of General Supervision from 7:00 to 12:00.
- More assistant nurses hired, totalizing 4 per day, aiming at faster assistance.
- Another new employee hired, Ms. Malu, to work as manager for Customer Service, whose function she performed for 10 years at Clínica São Vicente. Ms. Malu listens to patients’ complaints and she is very helpful in and capable of solving their problems. She also supervises the discharge of patients. This department is now working in its full capacity. Ms. Malu is available in extension 224, and she can also be found in the annex building (Embaixada), which was also totally refurbished.
- Two new residents, Dr. Bruno and Dr. Cristiane, have started working for the Clinic. Hospital da Plástica can now count on a total of 06 resident-doctors.
FACILITIES
  - The Amphitheater Sanaé Maia Matsuda was remodeled, and it is now prepared for call conferences.
- 200 m2 of Bianco Copacabana granite were used to redecorate the whole entrance of Hospital da Plástica.
IMPLANTS
  - Hospital da Plástica offers Silimed implants, in all sizes and models (high profile) – both texturized and made of polyurethane. For special models please place an early order.
- We also offer Maghan implants model 410 and CUI, texturized, all sizes.
- All the implants are sold for manufacturers’ price, and they may be paid in 03 installments at the Hospital’s discretion.

- Follow your physician’s orientation concerning admission time and pre-operatory recommendations such as medical exams and fastening.

- Don’t forget to bring the exams by the time of admission to Hospital da Plástica.

- Hospital da Plástica offers its patients:

  - soap, shampoo, and conditioner
  - toothbrush and toothpaste
  - slippers
  - nightgown/pajamas (should patients stay for more than one day or in case they want to feel more comfortable, they are welcome to bring their own nightgown/pajamas)

- Hospital da Plástica does not charge any additional fee for those who accompany patients overnight, offering them full room and board.

- Hospital da Plástica also has fax and Internet services available for those who want to bring their laptop.

- Visiting time is not limited, whereas there are no restrictions by the medical staff.

- The Hospital offers round-the- clock parking for those accompanying patients.
